Refund and Verification Policy

How verification review, manual payment confirmation, and refund decisions are handled.

Krowdvest uses manual verification and manual payment workflows as part of platform operations. This policy explains the general treatment of review timing, approval outcomes, and refund handling.

Review model
Manual verification

Accounts and related records are reviewed by an internal admin team.

Payment model
Manual confirmation

Where applicable, payment status is updated manually in the admin panel.

Refund approach
Case-based review

Refunds, if applicable, depend on payment status, review outcome, and operational context.

Verification review

Krowdvest reviews account information, profile completeness, supporting documents, internal notes, and moderation context before changing verification or approval status.

Verification review timing can vary based on queue volume, completeness of information, and whether follow-up clarification is needed.

Approval does not guarantee outcomes

Verification or approval indicates that a platform review step has been completed. It does not guarantee fundraising results, investor response rates, funding commitments, or commercial success.

Manual payment handling

If Krowdvest operates a manual payment confirmation process, payment records are entered, updated, and approved through the admin panel after operational review.

Users should maintain payment receipts, timestamps, and reference details where applicable so that payment questions can be reviewed more efficiently.

Refund treatment

Refund requests, where applicable, are typically reviewed case by case. Considerations include whether payment was successfully received, whether a manual review has already been performed, whether verification or moderation work has already been completed, and whether platform misuse or policy violations were involved.

Krowdvest declines refund requests where operational work has already been delivered, where records are inconsistent, or where platform policies have been violated.

Verification follow-up and disputes

If a user believes a verification or moderation outcome was incorrect, the user can contact the platform team with the relevant account email, pitch context, document references, and a concise explanation of the issue.
